With the Intecon e-Ledger application, Journal and General Ledger documents are prepared in compliance with the standards set by the Revenue Administration (Gelir İdaresi Başkanlığı) and can be easily transmitted electronically to the GİB (Revenue Administration). Our solution, which has received compliance approval from the Ministry of Finance for the e-Ledger system standards, allows you to handle the cumbersome and costly tasks of printing and storing physical ledgers, instead performing them quickly and cost-effectively in an electronic environment.
What is an E-Ledger and When Will It Be Used?
The e-Ledger is an electronic file prepared in compliance with the specific formats and standards required by the Tax Procedure Law and the Turkish Commercial Code. It ensures that the Journal and General Ledger, which are mandatory financial books, are stored without printing, and their immutability, integrity and accuracy of source are guaranteed. This system enables these electronic documents to serve as legal proof when needed. Initially, only the journal and general ledger are required to be maintained as e-ledgers.
For legal entities to integrate the e-Ledger solution, they must first be e-Invoice users. Additionally,
it is required to obtain a Financial Seal and choose compatible software approved by the Revenue Administration
(Gelir İdaresi Başkanlığı, GİB). Taxpayers wishing to implement e-Ledger must use software that has been approved for compliance.
According to the 421st Serial Tax Procedure Law Circular (VUK), taxpayers subject to e-Ledger obligations must start
organizing their journal and general ledger in electronic form by 2014. Since the ledgers need to be prepared monthly,
the ledgers for December 2014 must be prepared in this manner. Therefore, it is recommended that accounting vouchers be
organized using compliant programs from the first months of 2014 to ensure all documents for the year are maintained electronically.
What Should Be Done to Use the Intecon e-Ledger Application?
To use the Intecon e-Ledger application, the following steps must be completed:
Apply to the Revenue Administration (Gelir İdaresi Başkanlığı),
Obtain and upload a Financial Seal or Electronic Certificate,
Download and install the "Time Stamp" program from the Public Certification Center (Kamu Sertifikasyon Merkezi)

Install the latest version of Java products,
Own at least one Infor product.
